Beautiful and iconic, the contemporary oak faced Big Ben clock is a visual delight for you, or whoever you gift it to. Why not hang a piece of beautiful British history in your living room!

Made from real oak veneered wood, I painstakingly hand traced the face from photos I took of the real clock. Each clock is laser cut on one of my machines, hand sanded to remove any burn marks, then the clock mechanism is added on the back and the hands assembled.

It will fit most decor, due to the “negative space” design. Whether you have pale walls or have gone for something darker, the clock will sit upon your wall and let your background show through, blending in effortlessly.

It also tells the time very reliably, due to the use of high quality German-made UTS quartz mechanisms. These will last for years and keep time to within a few seconds every year.

It comes well packaged in a 12″ pizza box and plenty of bubble wrap, so it will always make its way safely to you.

Fun fact – the whole clock including the tower and clock face are generally known as Big Ben, but Big Ben is actually the name of the main bell.

“The clock and dials were designed by Augustus Pugin. The clock dials are set in an iron frame 23 feet (7.0 m) in diameter, supporting 312 pieces of opal glass, rather like a stained-glass window. Some of the glass pieces may be removed for inspection of the hands. The surround of the dials is gilded. At the base of each clock dial in gilt letters is the Latin inscription:

DOMINE SALVAM FAC REGINAM NOSTRAM VICTORIAM PRIMAM

Which means O Lord, keep safe our Queen Victoria the First.”
